Since the kit has decals for the seatbelts I had to replace it with something. Not wanting to use my better seat belt harness sets I used the Studio 27 PE set. Everything is PE and you just bend the material to shape to fit the seat. You then paint everything the material colour (flat red) and then scrape away the paint at the buckles. From my experience the scraping tends to scratch the PE so I use a brush dipped in lacquer thinner to take theh paint off. I purchased these PE sets by mistake when I wanted the PE buckles and material for the belts. These are a bit more work to assemble but I really like the look. The PE everything is supposed to be a quicker way to get these results. |
