Here is a closeup of the little winglet.
Care must be taken to not snap it off when
handling the body. You could replace the kit
part with brass but then you would have to make sure that it would blend in with the bodywork

Here are a couple of pictures of the rear wing
assembly. Note that I have left off the black
element. This can be painted white separately
from the wing and then installed. It turns out
that the fit was tight enough that I did not have
to glue it in. In hindsight I should have painted
this part along with the rear wing. When I used the
decals for the white the black undercoat showed
through slightly compared to the other rear wing
element that was painted red.

white portions of the rear wing since they worked very well with the Tamiya F1-2000 kit.
