This is the front wing all assembled together. There are two thoughts
to assembling the front wings. One is to paint each part separately and
then assemble it. The problem with this method is that the parts may not
fit due to the paint added and there is a possibility that the paint may be
ruined by paint marks during assembly. To save time I have decided to assembly the wing
before painting and paint the wing later.

The downside to this method is that the masking for painting will take some time and the paintjob may not
be very good.

Here are a couple of ejection pin marks that can easily be missed.

Test fitting of the nose and the front wing. Also by assembling the wing before painting I can tweak the
parts to make sure the wing sits straight.

A spot that can be missed but needs to be filled.

I glued the airbox to the monocoque and everything was going great until I test fitted the undertray monocoque and the rear bodywork For some reason there was a noticeable gap behind the airbox and the cowling. This was unacceptable so I had to rip off the airbox and reglue the part on.
I use a glue that is similar to Tenex 7. Whether this caused part of the problem is possible.

I also noticed a slight dip in the sidepod part and this needed some putty. This created some problems
later . As my sanding wasn't as good as it should be and slight sanding marks can be seen in my final
paint job.

Here is another view showing the puttying done to the inside of the sidepod part.
