One major error I found in my kit was that the wiring of the battery box to the circuit board showed the black wire going to the +ve terminal closest to the corner. Wiring it up this way the circuit did not work. Once wired up the correct way the unit functioned. I did no prior testing during assembly due to the number of wires and the fact that the wires needed to be soldered.

Here is the sequence when you turn the unit on. When you apply power the lights turn on. At the same time the wings and the cockpit canopy opens. You have no choice. If these items are already opened the model will try to open them again. You hear some grinding noises of the gear box and hope the thing will not self-destruct. It is advised that you close the wings and cockpit before turning the unit off. Beside the on/off switch is the sound button for various sounds. I count at least 6 different sounds. It is LOUD and the quality isn't great. The next button is the wing open/close. The final button is the canopy open/close. If you have wired the thing wrong the lights will go on but none of the special stuff will sork.
