There seems to be some eyes in this area and they need to be carved out. My first attempts were slightly off so I had to do it a second time
More buildup of the front cockpit area

More putty
Bondo to fill in the mistakes
Cockpit sides refined
Starting to carve
And the other side is being carved to shape
