Since the side pieces were hard to make with the main body I decided to make them off the main body and attach them later. I started by separating the cross sections and making their own templates. I them glued these onto sheet styrene 0.125" along with a line in the same location to all of them. At the same point in all of the cross sections I drilled a 0.125 hole. This will be used to line up all the segments
The at the lowest level I started to cut out the cross section but I did not go all the way through as I need the base as a guide
I then added another 0.125 spacer to get the correct thickness for the cross section
The using the hole as well as the top edge I lined up the second level and glued it on
I then too the cut off wheel in the dremel tool and cut out the excess styrene
The layers were slowly built up this way. You are looking a 3 episodes of SGA in front of you. It was a slow process
