A bit more work cleaning up the cross sections

I decide before the shape gets any more complex I would start to fill in between the cross sections

I first tried to fill in between the cross sections with Bondo but it is a bit too flexible on the strip of styrene. I then decide to strengthen it up by drilling through the cross sections and installing some styrene rods

Close up of the Bondo and the styrene rods that stiffen up the structure. Not sure what to do with the front section yet as it has a very small cross section

More and more Bondo added. It is taking quite a lot more Bondo then I thought. I have underestimated (again) the time it would take to fill this in

I mixed up a blob of Bondo and did one of the smaller cross sections. Once I have put some Bondo on I have to start carving away at the excess as it starts to cure. It is much easier now then when it is fully cured and rock hard. This is quite time consuming. This is done so I can still see the cross sections

This must be 6-8 times I have mixed up Bondo and applied it. I have to rethink how I am going to do this.

I decide to fill as much of the cross section I can with Styrofoam and then have a thin layer of Bondo on top. I use a hot wire to cut the thin strips of Styrofoam

I hot glue in chunks of Styrofoam

Next I took he hot wire and cut as much of the Styrofoam away as I could staying close to the cross sections

Unfortunately the flash washed out most of the detail
