The solar panels are now glued on. the colour here is a sharp contrast to the colour of the body. It sticks out quite a bit and in hindsight I would like something more subtle.

Each panel are handed even though there are 2 solar panels the same size the mounts are different. I was glad that the mounting points on teh body came through inthe casting as they make thing so much simpler. I thgouht if the nubs were there is will give a location to drill a hole and put in some brass rod

With all the solar panels in place it is getting harder and harder to find a place to grab the model to work on. Before I could grab it through the shuttle openings but not any more. Then it was the neck but not with the solar panels in there. Fewer and fewer opportunities to go swish with the model.
