Whew. All 6 engines mounted. I replaced the cast rod with brass rod and drilled out the hole in the body. Here you can see that all the engines can rotate. Oh and a beauty shot of all 3 models so far

Looking at my colour charts of all the metallic paints I have and reference photos I notice that the ship is not really metallic colours but has brown tones throughout. This has me scratching my head on how to approach painting my model. I was planning to use an Alclad II paint for the base colour since it is more durable than the Testors metallizers. Once i had the base I would then use the other metallics to weather the thing. Now I might have to use brown washes to get the correct colours. I have screen caps and the ortho views of the ship and the ortho views are more brownish compared to screen caps which has a more metallic feel to it.
