Back down to reality and the fact that I have to figure out how to paint the thing. I will use metalizer paints, but which ones? First I take out all the metalizer paints I have. Apparently I have a lot. Most are Testors and some are Alclad II. Here they all are. Instead of guessing I decide to paint a chart with all the colours
meanwhile I also make some mould for the landing pad as well as the shuttle landing arm. The big mould is for the StarGate I am building
Several hours later I have a chart of every metal paint I have. The right ones are the Testors while those on the left are Alclad II. I will most likely use Alclad II on the body as it is more durable and can take handling without rubbing off. The photo above is without flash
