Serenity - April 26 2007
Since I did have a mould of the rear engine area I decided to start casting them up. I did bring the master to the caster but figured I can do the simple things while he does the larger more complex items. This is a fairly bad item to cast as there are some super tight pinch points which will quickly kill the mould. I figure I might as well cast stuff until the thing dies.

So the plan today after work was to go visit the guy casting the parts for me. I was going to get the simple parts and let him concentrate on the more complex items such as the main body. The idea was to hopefully speed things up. Good thing I phoned ahead as he still wanted to do all the parts. The simpler parts would not have taken much longer for him to do as they are really no brainers. I am hoping that the news will be good early next week.
