So the casting process goes on. I have settled on using Alumilite and the other tan coloured resin. I will probably use up the white resin on bases. Not sure how many bases I can make as those things are heavy
Here are the shuttle arms in the mould. The resin does look like it has traveled up the other side more then I thought it did.

So the model car club meeting was today and this was the planned date that I was to get some of the first bodies. Meeting came and went and no bodies :( Disappointed is an understatement. At the meeting a member brought in some baby food jars and was giving them away. For some reason not many people were interested in them so I scooped up quite a few of them. They are a fair size and I thought they are a perfect container to hold sets of parts. Then again glass jars are heavy and would add to the weight of a package if I was to mail a model to a friend. Oh what to do what to do.
