More castings removed from the moulds. The shuttle head was a bear to remove. I think I forgot to spray some mould release and I hope it is not starting to deteriorate as I have not been able to get any more of this type of RTV rubber.

More casting

The tan resin for certain parts and the white resin for others. If I didn't have all the white resin I would use the tan stuff all the time as I like the qualities better and it is similar to the Alumilite I like

So back onto the shuttle holder. The styrene strip on the top is the start of the filing to shape. This is attempt number 2 as attempt No 1 is some where in my couch (I think)

So after loads of filing and sanding I get one tiny piece

Being a bit anal some times I actually disassemble the parts from the first piece and glue the ting together again trying to get it to look better. I am sure everyone can tell that what I had originally was off slightly </sarcasm off>

Phoned my caster Friday and he still has not poured the mould for the main body. I was under the impression that one half was already poured but that was not the case. Grrrr argh!
