The casting of the pads produced some with air bubbles. To salvage these I fill them with resin. These are the ones being fixed with excess resin
2 of the landing pad moulds are damaged and is missing one of the legs. This means the casting is missing a hole.
A quick jig is made and the holes are drilled
Not much progress these 2 days as the Toronto Symphony Orchestra was putting on a show called Hollywood Epics. The final numbers were Star Wars numbers so they asked us (501st and Rebel Legion)O to come down to entertain the patrons before the show and at intermission. It is loads of work but lots of fun. At the matinee show we were able to get outside for a group shot. The R2-D2 is mine.
