Serenity - March 2 2007
After airbrushing a coat of paint and letting it dry I then go over it with a wire brush in a dremel tool to take off the top coat.
Not bad but not as clean as I hoped
Hmm what to do next as I think it does not look clean enough
So I go over it wth sandpaper to clean it up a bit and it does look a bit better
For a ocal Sci-Fi con what better place to advertise the upcoming Serenity Screening www.cantstopthesignal.com. I make up a quick stand using a mini poster
Foam board, duct tape and hot glue
The top holds the flyers which contain only the Serenity Now/Equity Now logo which is all we can use. No Firefly logo, No Serenity Logo. Thank you very much lawyers (sarcasm off) So hopefully the poster will draw people in and take a flyer.
Local Sci-Fi convention Ad Astra. I was hoping to have a finished model for this event but I am unfortunately not finished. It does get frustrating as I feel I am just spinning my wheels
