Hmm first attempt at painting the shuttles. I primed with Plasticote Sandable gray primer. I then sprayed Alclad II black primer before a coat of Alclad II steel. |
Well first off even though I washed the shuttles with an ozone free cleaner this did not take off some of the mould release agent as the primer did not cover the shuttle completely. |
This was a knock on effect as there was fish eyeing of the primer which translated to teh black Alcald II primer and finally to the Alclad II Steels |
The result is too much paint and the loss of detail. Time to strip the paint and try again. |
