First pour of the base. Wow this took a lot of resin.

Hmm first attempt at painting the shuttles. I primed with Plasticote Sandable gray primer. I then sprayed Alclad II black primer before a coat of Alclad II steel.

Well first off even though I washed the shuttles with an ozone free cleaner this did not take off some of the mould release agent as the primer did not cover the shuttle completely.

This was a knock on effect as there was fish eyeing of the primer which translated to teh black Alcald II primer and finally to the Alclad II Steels

The result is too much paint and the loss of detail. Time to strip the paint and try again.
