I do like the quicker cure time of this RTV rubber. I have removed the bottom of the mould and will have to start to remove the clay
The clay is a lot different from Play-Doh as it needs more force to remove which means I have to take more care so as not to damage the master. There is still some clay in this photo which I have to remove
I also manage to pop out the mould for the landing pad. I wanted to keep the mould box to make a second mould so I can mould more then one part at a time.
Once everything is all cleaned up and mould release put in the turkey feather mould I pour more resin and back into the vacuum bottle
I have decided to use the word Firefly as the word for the base. Using a blown up image I print it to the size I want.
I then cut out most of the letters and glue them to s sheet of styrene to minimize waste.
