Pouring moulds for the turkey feather and the landing pad. The 2 moulds are in the bottle I used to suck out as much air as I can to hopefully remove as many air bubbles from the mould as possible.

This is the Alumilite RTV rubber. It has a different catalyst and smells differently. It will take some getting used to. Surprisingly the cost of this rubber from the local hobby store was very close to the how much it would cost from the bulk place.

The second difference is that it has a 30 minute working time and a 4 hour de-mould time. I was worried that I would not have enough time to paint in some RTV to reduce as many air bubbles as possible before the rubber would start to set up. It could be the cold temperature in the basement delayed the curing time and allowed me to work the moulds as much as I needed and to put it in the vacuum bottle to let that work too.
