And after cleaning up the moulds I pour some more.
I am continuously amazed at the good advice people have been giving me on this project. Photo etching advice, Electrical advice and now resin casting advice. A big thanks to all those sending messages and offering advice to try and make my life easier.
One of the moulds is starting to feel like it is wearing down. The first solar panel mould is not releasing the castings as easy as it was before. I have started to use a mould release agent (Pol-Ease 2300) I purchased this quite a while ago when I got the first batch of the white resin. This was purchased back when I was working on the master for the engine area. Wow that feels like years ago.
