More pulls. I think I am getting the hang of it

First pulls from new mould is not great

Same with the solar panels as there is no place for the bubbles to escape so they ruin the castings. Hindsight is 20-20 and the layout of the parts in the mould is terrible. I should know better. I maybe able to survive with only this mould.

My attempts to fix the bad casting by pouring resin into the large bubbles. Most of them fail

Line up of the next castings

Some more moulds after pouring resin

Have I said this before? Maybe. Maybe not but it is times like this where I have little patience. Those that produce kits and do all those castings are amazing. It is messy. It takes loads of time. It can be frustrating. When things work it is great. When the castings are ruined it sucks big time.

The amount of outlay on the raw materials is quite a bit. The RTV rubber and resin sure is not cheap. I can see why some after market kits are as expensive as they are. I can also see why recasters are hated so much.
