Argh. Thought I was done the shuttle and I could start making the moulds but there are some wires and such I still have to add. To the right of the nose section are some various samples of wire that I am trying out to get what I want. The top black wires are wire wrapping wire. The silver wires are the wire wrapping wires stripped of the insulation.
The top one is too thick. The middle one was stripped wire double backed on itself to try and make thing easier. The bottom two are the samples that seemed to work the best
First attempt to glue the wires on
The first set are trimmed and the second set is glued on
Um In an attempt to trim the second set of wires they broke off. So I had to clean up the area and try again.
Try number 2
Success this time
Several attempts to make the bend wires and glue them on failed. After a few failed attempts I stopped taking photos and wanted to finish the job before taking photos
One side done
The other side done. Next will be a second set of bent wires and another set of little details.
