Slowly hacking away
Cut off wheel, Milling bit, grinding bit.
Slowly chunks of styrene, resin and putty are cut out
Slowly it takes shape
Quite a bit of material has been removed.
Here is a better view of the amount of material removed. Only in once place did I accidentally cut through to the other side. This was in one of the shuttle recessed areas so it is not too visible. I suppose I could push the thinning process but I risk punching through more and more so I will stop now and clean up the inside.
