So after the cleanup with lacquer thinner I have some shuttle parts and solar panel parts.
It took some time but I finally managed to solder 2 of the door panels. The next fun part will be to try and put a raised lip around these two little doors.
The old panel above and the new detail piece below. It took some cleaning up to make the new piece look not as rough
The old PE part is peeled off
And the new one glued on
Um I am not sure what happened but for some reason the program I use to reduce the size of the photo changed the colour from the primer grey to the above light tan colour. If the results look good then all the other panels will be modified too. Then I can make a mould for casting.
