While trying to figure out how to get the left and right sides even I forgot about using a template so off I went to make one. And lo and behold there it is. Don't mind the shape it was made from scrap plastic.

The template does it's job and the first one goes in

Later on the other side goes in with some help from some plastic shims

One good turn disserves another and history repeats itself

Yeah see above.

Did I talk about my conversation with the resin caster? Well let me repeat myself. The guy has been casting for years and years. His quality is very good. However he now decided to open up a hobby store. And he is very busy now getting things ready for his opening. He says in a couple of weeks he will be free to look at my model. I have a bad feeling that he will not be free to look at my model and will be very busy with the new store. I don't want to wait that long so I am going to look into contacting another fellow I know who might be able to help me.

Now I guess I should have patience since this model has taken me so long to build but it just seems like a weight on my shoulder that I have to get off. I was hoping t have something to show for Flanvention but it doesn't look good.
