The tube is the diameter of the controversial engine braces that appear and disappear on the ship depending on the orientation of the side engines. The tube is used as a size gauge for the bix structure being made
Here are 3 of the units made up. The 2 best ones will be used and one is a backup in case I screw up one of the others
