Serenity - October 5 2006
Well the first piece turned out a bit screwed up so I made a second piece. Thank goodness for space pieces. The CA glue made things hard so I went with teh white glue first and when that was dry I used some CA glue to strengthen it. Er the front one is the better one
Sorry a bit fuzzy but I used pieces of scrap to get the profile of the rear wing
Below the shuttle is the strips of styrene glued together
Now it is all trimmed to shape
And again below the shuttle is the template
This is matched up with the PE part made before
After trimming it is fitted to the shuttle
Same thing for the other side
There are still some fine details needed to finish the shuttle but I figured I can finish the body and as that is being looked at for casting I can work on the shuttle so this part is on hold for now.
Coming down with something. A trip to the doctors showed the beginning of bronchitis. Just great. I get some red pills and a puffer. I sure hop it kills it before Thanksgiving Dinner on Saturday
