Convention coming up and Morena Baccarin will be there. Similar to the Adam Baldwin glass etching I am doing the same thing here. I search for images that I think look good and represent her as Inara. This means no other images from other shows or such. I then reduce this to a black and white image. Since the templates will be cut out by hand I can not use images that have shading
After cutting everything out with an exacto blade I separate the positive and negative image and place them on the glass that will be etched.
I then airbrush a layer of paint. After this is dry I use the glass etching chemicals. I let it sit for a bit and then I wash everything off.
Here are the results. Here one looks better then the other however under certain lighting conditions they both look amazing

Then the other. One will be personalized and the other will be signed and then donated to a local sci-fi convention for their charity auction.

Here is a comparison of the old parts beside the new photo etched parts. There are rows of 4 triangles instead of 3 as I have in the old part
So off comes the old parts
And new ones are slowly glued in
