Boxes done |
Backsides filed down at an angle to allow easier placement in recessed area if the recess s not completely cleared out |
Recessed area carved out using a Dremel tool |
Box is glued in taking care to position it so that the inside lip is evenly distributed as much as possible |
More glue is applied to make sure it is stuck in there solidly |
This is the start process of the grinding using the Dremel tool and a thin grinding bit |
More and more material is carved out |
Once the dept is reached I use the Dremel tool to be as clean as possible. Then I go in with exact knives and files to clean it up more |
Box glued into the newly carved recess |
and puttying |
