From the end view you can see that I have thinned the sides a bit. The entire piece has not been thinned or it would go right through. It can be thinner to look better but I am hoping that I can do that with the cast part |

The turned brass detail antenna is resting on the small scarp of styrene. I am testing out a second camera that I bought used and this is an image from that camera |

Starting to make the mould for the 2 part mould. The yellow stuff is Plastercine. A layer of petroleum jelly is spread over the Plastercine as a RTV release agent. Next will be to pour in the RTV rubber |
