I was not sure how easy it would be to try and cut out the desired area and still look good. So I decided to chop it in half

The left one is detailed
Then the right. The lower detail is just a straight line so it should be easy to close off
Here i have glued both top parts to the main body and scrap pieces to the bottom.
Here they are all trimmed up
Now for the main bodies of the antenna parts

Another view. I have decided not to include the rest of the antenna, as I will be making a mould and casting them. The casting will be stronger then this scartch built part
