My first attempt at gluing the pieces down was a failure. After all that work making sure the spacing even I found out that the spacing was too narrow, So off came the pieces

Incredibly in a couple of weeks I will have been at this model for a year. This is one complex ship. I am talking basically each and every day. Image if I did not try and do something each day. It would be a multi year project and would probably not get done.

Of course I am mentally tired as I have been scratch building 3 other huge ships. They have their own deadlines (2 weeks) so this is sort of an afterthought.
