Oh joy. References I have found show that the shuttle cutout I have is not right. So I will be changing it
Using the references I draw a template
Compare the template to the model and it looks right
Cut out a styrene template that is more durable
Find out the shuttle no longer fits so it needs to be modified
Modifications to the front nose does not go well as the putty flakes off
Close up
Some grinding to make the nose smaller. Not easy to notice and all the putty removed
Strips of styrene glued in. Now to wait for it to dry before I can sand and file the nose to shape again
