Coke is it. So I looked at the can and thought that it would be a great source for thin material. Thinner and more in scale then the 0.010 Styrene material I was going to use. It is also basically free after I have drunk the Coke inside
Chopped off the top to get to the good stuff
A chunk cut out and sanded on both sides to take off the paint.
While watching the movie Stealth I applied the 2 side pieces.
Nice eh? The pieces were super glued down

More cutting down and now glued to the nose slightly oversized
Finally done.
This is getting fun again. Maybe because it feels like the home stretch. I know it isn't but the stuff I am adding now is the fine details. This is when the model will look more and more like it does on screen. Also if I finish a section I can say to myself that that section is finished and I do not have to visit it again. (I hope)
