Instead of automotive putty to fill n the gaps as in the other frames I used 2 part resin since the gaps were very small and there was quite a bit of room behind the frame

Front frame. Yes a bit messy

I decide to clean up as much as I can while the resin cures. Unfortunately I discover that the frame is not recessed enough at the top and the window will not sit deep enough. Not many options. I could leave it but it will look funny so I start to try and pull out the frame

Not an easy job as it ruins the frame

At least I cleaned out the recessed area

This is all that survived of the frame. Unfortunately the top parts has been shaved too thin so this will have to be replaced
