Set 1 is done. Now to go back and do a second round

The second round is done after a few problems. Some of the first round of slivers had to be removed and repositioned to make sure everything was as evenly spaced as possible. Next I have to do some filing to get this to fit in the new engine intake

So it has to fit in the new engine intake

A while ago I said how I had a friend going to Flanvention and how I got a brass plaque made for the stars to sign. Here is the cover page that my friend showed the BDHs what I was doing and to protect the plaque.

And here is the plaque with all the signatures

Close up. Well Nathan and Summer signed below their etched names instead of above them. This meant Jewel and Adam had to squeeze their names in the space left over.

Another overall view of the plaque. It worked out that Joss and Gina's names were at the top edges and since I don't have their autographs it is a bit symmetrical.

Happy New Year. I was opening a box of Serenity cards and the pieceworks card was Mal and the signed card was Gina. So I do have Gina's signature. Of course now that gives me another idea of a base for the model. Doh.

I can go to ebay and spend $$$ on getting signed cards and using these as part of a base.
