These pieces are the start to the engine intakes. There is a specific pattern that a turned part can not replicate so here I am starting a new one

I wanted to redo it since there is a tiny step that I did not replicate the first time

Here is the start of the new engine intakes. I am not sure how long this will take but this new process I have figured out should make it easier to construct (I hope). The laser etching is a big help as my old process of printing somehting and then gluing it to styrene is prone to minor errors. Errors that are noticable on a symetrical item. I expected a few hours to cut out these parts but I believe I did it in half an hour.

Also the top of the wings are finally going to get done. Then I will decide if I want to permanently attach them to the main body or leave them as separate for the casting process. If I make them separate i will have to do a lot of clean up to make sure the fit is tight. The down side si I don't know if the casting process may alter the fit of the parts and create a problem.
