The lining up of those strips of styrene sure takes up loads of time. Yu could be out by as little as 0.005" and it would be noticable to the eye. I used an old technique I used to put PE parts on models. Lay the part where it is suppoed to go and then lay a piece of tape on it. Peel back the tape add glue and then lay the tpae back down. In theory it is supposed ot be bang on. So far it has worked well.
