Well the LED circuit was giving me problems. I am not an electronics guru so I just solder the stuff together and hope I didn’t melt anything. Things went together fairly well. However when I went to try it out nothing worked. Tested the power supply the circuit board etc. Finally figured out that I needed to apply power to 2 terminal. In hindsight it makes sense but at the time I was cursing.

The other downer is that the light pattern is random instead of a chase circuit. I purchased this one since it allowed multiple LEDs per line. I do not know if I can add more LEDs to the other kits provided. This thing has a PIC and in theory I can reprogram it but I don’t have the hardware to do that.

I will have to research it more and/or get some other LED circuit board. However I do not know if I can add LEDs and still get it to work. Currently I don’t know how many LEDs I will need to light up.
