On closer inspection the head area is slightly out. The nose is too long and so is the top section |
Also more sanding |
The line which was later made even deeper is where I have to cut the nose back |
I pulled off the styrene lips |
After carving back the nose I put in new styrene strips |
Most of the styrene has been cut off. I will wait for teh glue to fully dry before doing the final sanding and shaping |
The underside |
More carving of the back section |
Glue dried so I did sanding and trimming |
Had to get ready for a TT20 Convention committee meeting tomorrow. Changed the snow tires on my car and picked up some items in a local mall. I was supposed to rent a tuxedo for a party a couple of weeks later but I got lazy and went to a local hobby store I hang out at to chat with the guys there. It sure doesn't look like I did much work on the model |
