Checking references and what do I find? My windshield outline is out. Crap. So using the new image as a template I start making the frame out of 0.010 styrene
So far the surround is done. I will need to let it dry as teh small amount of glue i used was still enough to severely soften the styrene

While still soft I carve off as much of the useless putty as I can
While shopping i found some Christmas lights. These are mini chase circuit
They turned out not very bright but I was hoping to put them into the rotating engine area. I also ordered some LED chase circuits from online. I hope to be able to use brighter LEDs for that
A yahoo group has been started for those who want to build a model of Serenity. Hopefully to share ideas and encourage each other. There is one paper model that is coming along nicely
