Success and no blood spilt. The exacto blade did slip a couple of times

New piece put on and old outer piece sort of saved

I had to do a lot of cleaning up of my work area. It is still a mess and I have to do a bit more vacuuming. Why am I writing this? Well it meant less time to work on the model. I was seriously thinking of not working on it. I then looked at the rear engine thingy and thought I would do a bit of sanding there and call it a day.

Well guess what. When referring to my new reference pictures I noticed the side profile was slightly out. So a simple job turned into a 2 hour job just to get the side profile looking more correct. I had to pull off the existing layers of styrene before I can put the new layer on. I was also holding the Xacto knife and cutting towards myself. I am keenly aware that there is potential of seriously cutting myself. Which I have done before. Vision of blood all over the place. Well I was super cautious and still the knife slipped a couple of times. N injuries thank goodness.

Well I am on my way to getting the correct profile.
