SERENITY - Nov 6 2005 |
The underside is getting there. I will need at least one more round of puttying |
Start chipping away at the inlet |
Cleaner but need some putty |
Now to start the nose which has a slight overhang. Not many pics of this area/ Train Job was the best source I found |
I had to cut a slight indent for the sheet styrene to sit in and be as flush as possible |
Second sheet added |
What it looks like underneath |
Starting to file and cut to shape |
Even more refined |
More putty for the slight imperfections and the nose overhang parts to blend them in |
Lines are marked all over the place as I check and triple check to make sure things are symmetrical. |
Every so often I google "Model Firefly Serenity" to see if anyone else is out there that is working on a model. To hopefully share ideas. My efforts have been fruitless. However today my web page is second on the list. How that happened so fast is amazing considering last week I was nowhere to be seen in a search. I wonder how many people read my blog? |
