Finally had time to make the mould box for the foot pad.
Still working on these vent things
They have held out well to the handling during sanding and stuff. I was sure one would collapse on me.
Wasted an hour looking for the little bottle for the RTV rubber. Not sure what happened but this means I will have to go and buy a new container to move the project forward. The front of these vents have a screen pattern that I am not sure how to tackle yet. Well I know I can make the screen. The problem is the vents are fairly deep and this maybe a concern for the moulding process. Pressure casting can solve the problem of air bubbles but it would be harsh on the mould when demoulding and can shorten the mould life
