What are these things? Well they are part of the swirly thing around the engines. I am sure most people have not seen them, me included until I studied references and had to replicate them for the model. So here is the beginnings.
Patterns glued to 0.125 styrene and then cut and filed to a rough shape. I have super glued 2 pieces of styrene together so I can have a left and right one
Lots of grinding and filing
A bit more cleaned up on the inside
