OK it has taken me too long to add the detail to the bottom of the ship so I have decided to go another route that will hopefully be faster
So I am going to add sheet styrene strips to get the desired pattern
This is all I could do for now as there were some areas I have to clean up before I can proceed
The opening in the side is too small for the shuttle
I made a template so I can cut out the opening and be the same on both sides
