Made the second side of the top detail piece of the wings. I am still not sure how I am going to add the step
Still at it and still have no idea about the turkey feathers. I wish I had access to photo etching facilities. The above and the turkey feathers would be a piece of cake.
Finally getting to the underside
It took lots of looking at references but I am slowly getting the underside shape worked out. Of course that is only one side
After one round of grinding and such I had to fill a few of the dents with putty
Looks simple until you have to carve it out of nothing
The nose tip still has to be done
And still more filling. They all have to be taken care of eventually
