New pieces are hand cut and assembled to the body shell. The top piece fits like a glove. The recessed side front and rear pieces also fit.
It is getting there
Inside view showing the edge gussets that I think are needed to strengthen the joint. This will probably be the best bet over going to thicker material. Once all the joints are dry I will test the structural rigidity and decide then.
Another view of the inside joints. Not sure why the image reduction program made this image so blue. Sure makes the gussets noticeable.
