All parts painted and
ready for the next
step

Test fitting the tub to
the undertray. Some
scraping of the paint
was needed to get them
to fit. The back of the tub
has been decaled with CF
hard to see here but
the fuel filler cap area
has been decaled with CF.
This was not a simple area
to decal. Undertray has
been decaled also.

Engine block partially
wired and with suspension
parts added. Airbox has
also been added

The other side of the
engine with some wiring
added. Radiator hoses
have to be added as do the
exhaust pipes.

The two sidepods ready
To go. The little bits of
Colour make the part
appear more complex and
add a bit of variety to the
area. The three yellow
coloured connectors are
correct. The others I
could not find references
on. The sidepods
were also CF decaled.

CF decal everywhere. These
were not simple but possible.
The brake ducts were done
with a bunch of small
slices of decals. The decal
used here is a Modellers
brand and is very obvious.
I prefer my CF decals more
subtle. The steering wheel
was done with one decal sheet
and some solvaset. To get
the decal to sit over the
buttons lay the decal on the
steering wheel and add a bit
of solvaset. When you can
see the tops of the buttons
you can take a new Exacto
blade and cut the decal so
it can sit down.

Test fitting the tub and undertray
and the engine block. The rear
wing also fits the rear of the
transmission very nicely without
glue.

Testing the fit of the
main body parts. Gaps are
present but not too bad.
Not sure how much tweeking
I can do later to get the fit
better.
