Tamiya 1:24 Ferrari Enzo

Built mainly straight out of the box. This was a controversial car when it was first brought out as people either loved it or hated it. I was in the later group but the shape has sort of grown on me although I like the FXXX better. I built it because this was Tamiya's latest and supposedly greatest car kits. Tamiya is knows for their great engineering and I wanted to see how things went together. Needless to say they did not disappoint.

The fit of parts was superb. The tires, wheels are top notch.

The headlight glass fit very well and if you use a black marker on the edges of the glass before installing them it makes it look more realistic.

The rear engine cover was not the best fit on my example.

Some detail was added to the rear shocks. Mainly wiring

The doors work and is a very tight fit. I made sure when painting I used as little paint as possible as I was worried that paint building would prevent the panels from closing properly.

The interior is also very nicely detailed
