Dr Who - S4 - Rose Tyler Torchwood Gun

Here is the gun with a coat of black paint. Use acrylic paints. Spray can paints normally eat the styrofoam.
Next it was some shading with some gunmetal paints and then finally some highlights with flat aluminum
Added the trigger area and the hoses. The hot glue gun gives you an idea of the size. The tip is supposed to be more metallic colour but for now it stays as is.
